In the Parlante we have always believed that audiovisual can promote social change. That is why we have decided to collaborate with the communication agency All Media Consulting<\/a>, with which we have co-produced the documentary “Los a\u00f1os robados de Xavi”, directed by journalist Gustavo Franco Cruz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The work tells the search of Xavier Vallejos, 35 years old, to know the truth about his adoption in 1985. An exciting story, of personal struggle that becomes collective, knowing the reality of the child protection system in Spain. Mireia Fort participated in the production team, in charge of the edition and cameraman, also a member of elParlante.<\/p>\n

We look forward to the premiere of this documentary in the coming weeks. Amnesty International, the Association for the Defence of Minors<\/a>, Silvia Cuatrecasas Abogados, and Enrique Vila, lawyer and writer specialising in irregular adoptions, have also collaborated. Filming took place between 19 and 27 September 2013, in seven cities (Palam\u00f3s, Barcelona, Granollers, Canovelles, Valencia, Alzira and Sant Cugat), and more than 2200 kilometres.
