As in previous editions<\/span>, La Cru\u00eflla Comuna<\/b>, the project that we have been developing since 2009 in different schools in Catalonia, this time will return to the classrooms of three neighborhoods of Barcelona: Sarri\u00e0, Horta and Sant Andreu.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Common Crossroads<\/b> It has to do with common encounters and crossings, it is a media education space carried out in secondary school -usually in the class of education for citizenship- in which through debate, the review of various audiovisual formats, and positive interaction, it is intended that young people build their own view of cultural diversity, escaping from the simplistic discourse of mass media that transmit and perpetuate rumors, prejudices and stereotypes about people of different origins.<\/span><\/p>\n

During four sessions, young people are informed, expressed and debated on immigration, refugee and the structural causes of material poverty in the countries of the South, as well as the co-responsibility of Northern countries, while raising awareness of the importance of exercising critical and always active citizenship.<\/span><\/p>\n

The methodological proposal of <\/span>La Cru\u00eflla Comuna<\/b>, is based on the use of information and communication technologies inside classrooms as alternative tools, useful for deconstructing discourses and placing at the center, the autonomous capacity of people to become critically aware of themselves and the problems of their environment, from a dialogic process that contributes to the construction of exit routes for social problems.<\/span><\/p>\n
