\n OLD LIVES MATTER<\/strong>\n<\/strong>, We don’t mind calling elderly people old. To these people with whom we have been working for years to combat ageism from projects such as the \n \n La GRAN pantalla Film Festival<\/span>\n <\/em>\n<\/a>, or the participatory videos of \n \n La Gran Gent Gran<\/span>\n <\/em>\n<\/a>. We don’t care because many of them don’t care either, because they recognize the beauty of wrinkles and wrinkles, because old age shouldn’t be a problem, when it’s a privilege!<\/p>\n\n

What matters to us, however, is that care homes are confined without listening to the voices of their residents, that the media points to them as victims without creative capacity. What does matter to us is that young people continue to be valued as a universal value, that pensions are frozen, that they have little political representation, that their children or the system decide on their health. What matters to us is that they are described as boring or inept in the face of technology. What does matter to us is that the majority of older people are excluded from active participation in society. What does matter to us is that there are 90,000 elderly people living alone in Barcelona and that all public spaces designed for them remain closed.<\/p>\n\n

Therefore, because \n #lesvidesvellesimporten<\/strong>\n<\/em>, we invite you to be part of the second season of \n \n #ParlaGRAN<\/span>\n <\/em>\n<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
