The III International Congress of Communication and Citizenship, organized by the AE-IC and the Pompeu Fabra University, will be held on 22 and 23 May 2025 at the Canòdrom in Barcelona. This event will bring together academic and third sector projects to reflect on the challenges of community communication, alternative media and citizen participation. Activities include dialogue panels, presentations of local projects, screening of audiovisuals and academic communications.
Organized in collaboration with the Network for Research in Community, Alternative and Participatory Communication ( RICCAP ), the EducoGEN R&D project and the SOSCom R&D project, the congress will address key topics such as media literacy, communication policies, peace narratives and disinformation. Likewise, on May 22, the EducoGEN Final Conference will be held, which will address the thematic line 3 of the congress: feminisms, audiovisuals and new technologies.
